Christchurch based inventor, Grant Ryan's YikeBike makes Time Magazine's list as one of the top 50 inventions of 2009.YikeBike is a modern twist on a penny farthing bicycle and uses smart technology to solve the problems of increasingly congested and polluted cities. The YikeBike weighs around 22 pounds, costs between $4000-5000, goes 12.5 miles per hour, and folds up in a minute flat.
