Project Lyttleton, the organisation that brings us the popular Lyttelton Farmers Market, is also the primary organizer of this annual summer event. The Lyttelton Summer Festival is a ten-day long festival celebrating arts, food, entertainment and community culture of Lyttelton, a suburb and primary port town of Christchurch.Events include free musicians and bands, wine tastings, coffee tours, interactive culinary evenings, historical walks, photographic and art exhibitions, a bio-diverse gardening display, and a chance to up-cycle your old clothes. The festival will conclude with a fun filled street party, filled with music, food vendors, and quirky performances (Sunday 28th Feb 2010, 12-6pm).
