What's on the Horizon for Sol Square?

alternative text

The Press has got wind that six of Christchurch property developer David Henderson's former bars in SOL Square have been sold to new proprietors.

Yellow Cross, La Petite-Croix, Vinum, Fat Eddie's, Cleaners Only and The Fish & Chip Shop have been purchased by Christchurch hotelier Max Bremner and his business partners, former All Black Tane Norton and his sons, Richard and Andrew Norton.

Makes you wonder what's in store for this up-and-coming part of the city.....Do you think the new proprietors should keep these establishments as bars or make some into shops or cafes that will draw a daytime crowd? What would you like to see happen in SOL Square? Tell us your thoughts.
